| I had high expectations for this wine and I'm glad to say it met them. Sequilo Cellars is a combination of Eben Sadie & Cornel Spies.the Sadie family have a rich reputation from their Sadie Family vinyard, especially the Columella. This wine was a rich ruby colour but with a subtle dampening to avoid any assocaition with a cheap red. Initially you are hit with the tradtional musty smell of classic wine but then a sneaky whiff of vanilla hits you. A pleasant wake up call to the sleepy traditional introduction. Well balanced and a joy to savour. |
