I looked up what "Vieilles Vignobles" means and apparently it means "Old Vine" and is used on wine bottles to show if a wine comes from vines that are notably old.Grape : Don't know Blend

The idea being that older vines produce better wines.
This Cotes du Rhone wine wone the Medaille D'Or Paris in 2009 but to be honest I wasn't overly impressed with it.
It had a light nose with hints of strawberries and red berries.
Very light in the mouth and a little sour - actually the aftertaste became very sour for me. It's not an overly unpleasant sourness, just the usual sour taste that you sometimes get with white wines (that, personally I'm not a big fan of).
Initially I wasn't a big fan, and scored it 75 however it grew on me as I carried on drinking so the score gradually increased.
