Region : South Africa > Western Cape > Franschhoek Valley
Alcohol : 14.5%   Red wine

This syrah is matured in French Oak.

It was very silky looking as it was poured into the carafe. A gorgeous violet colour which became dark, black red in the glass.

A rich, full nose, warm and spicy.

On the palate a medium bodied wine with fresh, spicy flavour with some earthy tones on the long, full and complex finish. Some acidity.

An aromatic wine that's quite bold and fresh.
