This wine is from the Quoit Family, in particular Jerome Quiot the viticulturist from Chateauneuf du Pape.

It has a strong alcoholic nose with a hint of nail polish remover (ethyl acetate).

The wine is medium bodied and quite sharp on the palate. Not acidic or fizzy but sharp in the mouth.

There are hints of backed cooking apples in the aftertaste and also a slight sour vegetative taste which I'm not sure if I liked.

Overall it was ok, quite drinkable but not too keen on the vegetative taste.

Thinking about it, there was nail polish remover on the nose and vegetative tastes in the aftertaste so maybe the bottle wasn't at its best.
