So that explains the name then. And might explain why you get a lot of floating pieces of wood in Southern Chile...maybe.
As for the wine, on the nose I get a lot of green. LIke plants or appley fruits, nothing specific just a sense, or feeling of green.
On the palate, again, nothing specific stands out. It's a smooth, non-acidic wine and is a little dry.
Overall a fairly pleasant, very drinkable, but not outstanding Sauvignon Blanc.
