This was a pretty expensive wine (for me!) so we treated it a bit special and opened it and let it breathe for 3 hours.Grape : Nebbiolo

On pouring it was a brown-treacley translucent colour with a warm, alcoholic nose.
A little tart and acidic in the mouth and some tannins came through after a little while.
Quite a robust wine with an expensive jam, conserve taste.
It has quite a light body and a light mouth feel, with a long, jammy finish.
A very good, drinkable wine.
I left it in the glass for a while and came back to it and it had developed into a light port style of smell and taste. With this change came a cooking appley taste.
Interesting.
