I bought this on a Shinkansen (bullet train) platfrom and drank it from a plastic cup so perhaps not the best tasting situation. It's a screwcap by the way. Grape : Blend

Fruity and a little tart and acidic. Smooth on the throat however.
Fairly light to medium bodied with a medium finish. It got better as it warmed up (bought from a chiller like a lot of red wines in Japan), but overall pretty average.
