This red wine is made from the Kai Noir grape which I'm not sure but I've only had it in Japanese wines so perhaps it's only grown here in Japan.Grape : Kai Noir

It has a very distinct and unusual taste, one of those love it or hate it types. Can be quite earthy.
I veer toward the "love it", and found this wine to be pretty good.
