This Golden Sherry from Sandeman is actually more like a dark brown than golden, like a non-milk tea.

It has toffee apple on the nose, no, actually more like a banana fritter. That kind of dark burnt sugar smell (black treacle?).

Quite smooth with again that burnt sweet flavour on the tongue, like Golden Syrup (treacle).

Appropriately with all the sugar references it has a slight syrupy feel to it and is fairly sweet.

I don't know sherry very well but this is pretty drinkable.
