Full on the nose with a fruity alcoholic aroma. Had alcoholic vapours coming off it. Grape : Zinfandel/Primitivo

The wine had kind of a meaty flavour like salami or black pudding. Apparently some wines can taste of rusty nails (according to my wine guide) so maybe this is what made me think of iron in blood.
It was light bodied, slightly tannic with a medium finish. Also it was slightly zingy with acidity on the edges of the tongue.
A full on fruity, big bold wine. I liked this one.
