Kirrihill Wines are based in Clare Valley in South Australia and there grapes come from Clare Valley and the Adelaide Hills and the vineyards range between 350 and 550 metres above sea level according to their website.
This shiraz had a deep red colour with a hint of purple, and there's a nice earthy nose.
It's medium bodied but has a light feel in the mouth. There's a bit of fruit on the palate of this one. Shiraz tends to be spicy and peppery but this one, not so much.
It had a medium finish and quite soft tannins.
Very drinkable.
