A fruity, zingy wine with a light body. It was a pale, light reddy brown colour, and fairly translucent. The wine was a little acidic, but soft in the mouth, and quite bright and fruity on the finish. Kind of floral, and I was getting like a cherryade, tizer kind of taste (but without so much fizz of course!). Towards the end it reminded me of a sweet port.

The bottle was cracked and had some seepage out of it. I thought this might have affected the taste but it seemed ok. I had this originally at a wine tasting a few weeks ago, and scored it 8.5 then too.

Try another Pinot Noir : Pinot Noir Kettmeir 2006
Try another wine from USA : Inglenook White Zinfandel
