Couvent Des Jacobins Bourgogne 2007

Winery : Maison Louis Jadot
Grape : Chardonnay
Region : France > Burgundy/Bourgogne
Alcohol : 13%   White wine
Price :
Score : 80 by MoIppai (16/01/2010)

This was another first for me. I've often read reviews of wines being described as tasting of toast, or buttery toast, and thought that was pretty ridiculous.

Until I tasted this one!

It actually smelt of toast and tasted very strongly of buttery toast.

I gave it a high score, however I've also written in my notes,
"Thick, cloying, creamy. Don't Buy as it's too creamy."

Basically I think, for me, one glass is enough but I wouldn't be able to drink a bottle (or more than one glass).
