On the palatte the earthiness came through aswell, not much fruit. It was also a little bitter.
Not too impressed to begin with but then it was very cheap, I think it was on offer, 2 for ￥1000 ($10) so shouldn't expect too much.
Fairly standard jug wine, but pretty drinkable.
