Made in a very Rhône-like style with long barrel ageing in only French oak and without any new wood. It is full of complex, cracked pepper flavours and has a huge silky palate. It will age for five or more years, but it already delicious.Grape : Syrah/Shiraz

| Massive disappointment. Harsh on the nose and not much depth to the initial taste. Had been saving this wine for a special occassion and when it eventually came I was in trepedation until I cold pour the first glass. But all the waiting was in vain. The expected deep tones of blackberry/cheery failed to materialise and I found myself not even finishing the bottle. Wouldn't mind trying again ina few years but for now avoid if possible. |
