I have a feeling I'm not the only one who discovered Wild Turkey after reading "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", and getting into the works of the great Gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson (RIP). It was (one) of his drinks of choice.Location : USA > Kentucky

It was the first bourbon I ever tried, and took quite a liking to it, then moved on to Crown Royal and Makers Mark amongst others.
It has sweet, light caramel toffee hints on the nose, and a slight creamy mouth feel to it.
Flavourwise nothing too distinctive stands out to me. It's a little sharp with a slight burning sensation on the lips.
There are some subtle caramel notes (perhaps).
This is a great Bourbon with a nice kick to it.
