This is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon from Old Crow Distillery Company out of Clermont, Kentucky and like a lot of Bourbons has "Old" in the name.Location : USA > Kentucky

Apparently, back in the 1800s, Dr James Crow made this whisky and sold it as "Crow", and, having a scientific background, he experimented a bit and found that if it was allowed to age a bit it tasted better, hence it was then sold as "Old Crow".
This bourbon is aged in barrels for three years.
It has a light, caramel colour in the glass and a sweet, almost floral nose.
On the palate fairly smooth and light with not too much of an alcoholic hit.
It's slightly caramelly with a hint of leather and a finish that sticks around.
There's also a nice vanilla taste on the finish.
This is a very nice and drinkable bourbon.
