One of the cup sakes from my 47 Cup Sake collection, and this one comes in a plastic cup as opposed to a glass one, so feels kinda cheap.

It has a light, almost fruity nose and on the palate it's a medium bodied sake with not too much alcohol on the taste.

It has a slight puckering feel to it near the back of the tongue and mouth.

Also, a slightly chalky powdery feel on the tongue and roof of the mouth.

It's not sharp or acidic and slips down the throat nicely.

It's only a little dry, and is a perfectly drinkable sake, although personally I'm not too keen on the powdery feel though.

As an added bonus, on the inside of the plastic cup there are trivial facts about JR (Japan Rail) train lines (for example distances between stations). Something to read while you're standing at the station drinking this on the way home from a hard days work I guess.

The Masumi Brewery have a decent English website here.
