Another of my 47 Cup sake's (one from each prefecture in Japan). This one is from Yamanashi Meijo Co. Ltd. in Yamanashi Prefecture just a little to the west of Tokyo.Area : japan > yamanashi > Hokuto City
Sake Type : Junmai-shu
Alcohol : 15%

It's made with rice and kouji (the rice mould that starts the sake brewing process) and the rice is polished down to 65%.
It's a clear sake in the cup with a light nose. In fact the nose is so light it's almost imperceptible.
On the palate, a bit lively and fresh, but also a bit flabby, not crisp.
There's almost a fruitiness to it, like a hint of bitter lemon or something.
The aftertaste is fresh and the bitterness is there on the finish too. Is it lemon peel or maybe a hint of orange or yuzu peel?
This is ok, drinkable, nothing wrong with it, but fairly unremarkable.
