This is actually a sake cocktail, it's a mixture of sake and lime, and comes in a rather nice silver/green screwtop bottle from the convenience store.

It's initially sharp and sour but I was drinking it with some strong cheese, salami and pepperoni and it offset their sharpness and heat beautifully.
They complemented each other and mellowed out their respective sharpness.

To be honest, I prefer a plain sake taste however so probably wouldn't buy this again, but it makes a change and might be an alternative for people who aren't big fans of straight sake.

The brewery Nihonsakari is in Nishonimaya and I see their big brewery sign on my train commute every morning. I must visit it one day.
Their website (only in Japanese unfortunately) is here. It's worth having a look though as it has some nice photos.
