Wasn't sure where to put this drink, it's a "Budou no Sake" which means it's a sake made with grapes, so is it a wine? a sake? or something else?

I think it's a sake based wine made with grapes, or a "Nihonshu Based Liquer" as it says on the label.

As you can see from the photo, it's a dark red/muddy brown colour so certainly looks more like a wine than a sake.

Anyway, what does it taste like?

Well, it's just like cherryade on the nose and tastes just like grape juice, no hint of the taste of sake, or alcohol for that matter.

It was okay for me, but too juice like. My wife loved it though.
