I bought this Daiginjo sake on a trip to Tottori. It was kind of expensive but worth every penny (or yen).Area : Japan > Tottori
Sake Type : Daiginjo-shu
Alcohol : 15%
Price : ¥¥
Score : 94 by MoIppai (18/12/2010)
Made with 100% Yamada rice which is polished down to 40%, this sake has a Nihonshudo (sake meter value) of +4 so should be fairly dry.
The nose however was full and sweet, but on the palate it was a little dry. There was also a creamy feel to it in the mouth.
It disappeared down the throat, and was very smooth and soft. Not acidic at all.
Overall there is an expensive, sophisticated feel to this sake and it's excellent and highly recommended.
