This is the other can in the Geikkekan Premium can range found in Convenience stores in Japan (the other being a red can containing, a fairly average, Junmai Daiginjo).Area : Japan > Kyoto

This Daiginjo sake is made from Yamada Nishiki Rice which is polished down to 35%.
It has a sweet, fresh nose and is light and smooth on the palate. Not acidic and tart like the red can.
The sake has quite a fresh taste and is fairly dry, especially on the aftertaste.
This is much nicer than the red can (the Junmai daiginjo), much smoother. But still, despite being a daiginjo made from rice polished down to 35% of the core, it just seems fairly average to me.
Admittedly for a one-cup sake from a convenience store it's excellent and I would prfer this to some of the other options, but overall not a great sake.
