This sake from the June shipment of my sake club has a nihonshudo of +1 (so very slightly dry) and is made from Gohyakumangoku (五百万石) rice which is polished down to 60%.

I had this chilled from the fridge, and it has a very subtle smell with a weak yellow colour in the glass.

It's quite syrupy in the mouth and a has a weighty feel in the mouth.

Slighty sweet and smooth on the palate with a slightly sharp (but only very slightly) taste.

The taste is not too overpowering with quite a subtle aftertaste.

This is an excellent session sake I think, it's very easy to drink ("nomiyasui" in Japanese), and is a very pleasant, drinkable sake.

A very drinkable and pleasant sake.
