This is a local sake from Tottori prefecture, home to the author of GeGeGe no Kitarou, a mange/anime about various ghosts and so I'm sure a big hit amongst tourists (well I was a tourist and I bought it).Area : Japan > Tottori
Sake Type : Junmaiginjo-shu

It's made with 100% gohyakumangoku (五百万石) rice and polished to 55%. It has a nihonshudo of +3 (so should veer towards a dry tasting sake) and a sando (acidity level) of 1.5 .
A hit of pure sake on the nose, and very clear in colour.
A very light sake, light, fresh and crisp with some acidity (sharpness on the tongue).
No distinctive or unusual taste but very drinkable. If you visit the area I'd recommend buying this to try, for the novelty value of the label at least.
