This, like the Genshu I also reviewed from Sawanotsuru Brewery is not really a brand sake, but more of a type of sake, or a process in the brewing.Area : japan > hyogo > Nada

Taru (barrel) Zake (sake), is basically sake that has been left to brew for a while in a wooden barrel (a Taru).
It's smooth, with a slight wooden smell and taste. Kind of like an oaked wine in many ways, but the wood is more pronunced I found.
