Misasa

Brewery : Kiku Masamune
Area : japan > tottori
Sake Type : Sei-shu
Alcohol : 15%
Price :
Score : 80 by MoIppai (18/05/2010)

I bought this in an onsen (hot spring) town called Misasa, in Tottori prefecture and that's the sake's named after the town.
It came in a nice souvenir bag too.

It's made with rice, kouji and added alcohol and is a clear sake with a light alcohol smell, like a vodka.

It actually tastes like a light (alcohol wise) vodka, not like a usual sake.

It wasn't bad, but fairly average and unremarkable.
Drinkable but not really worth remembering.

I initially had it at room temperature but it improved a little bit warmed up (atsukan).
