Alcohol : 15%

This sake was being given away free in Umeda station forecourt (Osaka) by the brewery to celecbrate 350 years of Kikumasamune Brewery (they started way back in 1659).

I queued up twice and managed to get two bottles...result.

It's made of rice, kouji (the rice mould that makes sake) and acohol.
The rice is ground down to 70%.

It has a nihonshudo of +5 so should be very dry.

This is another clear white sake with a light alcoholic smell.

There's a slightly sour taste to it, but it tastes quite fresh an dyou can taste the alcohol.

It is fairly dry too.

It has that alcoholic effect that kakes your cheeks and edges of your nose tense up after drinking it (do you know what I mean?).

Overall it's a very drinkable, every day light fresh sake. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing too special either.
