関の露 (Seki no Tsuyu)

Brewery : Yagi
Area : japan > nara
Sake Type : Sei-shu
Alcohol : 15%
Price :
Score : 85 by MoIppai (10/09/2009)

I bought this in Sekigahara (site of a famous, decisive battle in Japanese history), and the name means 'A drop of Sekigahara' apparently. (Although it is made in Nara - a close, but different part of Japan).
It had like an unusual sweet smell. I got light, white chocolate on the palatte, like a white chocolate gateaux.
Which is weird for a drink made from rice.
A pretty good sake.

I had this a secod time and it scored a little less than time. Maybe I wasn't in the mood for it.
