It's a Junmai daiginjo and is made from rice and kouji only (no added alcohol, etc), with a nihonshudo (sake density) of +2 so should be a little dry, and a sando (acidity) of 1.5
I drank this chilled and it pours a pale green/yellow colour with a subtle sake smell.
It has quite an alcoholic taste in the mouth, with almost a sour, acidic aftertaste.
It was also quite cloying (syrupy) while chilled, more of a sipping sake than a quick session one.
It was also a little dry.
This is the kind of sake that you might start with before moving on to an easier drinking (possibly cheaper!) sake.
I would compare this to say, an expensive port, in that it's good for one, two glasses then it gets a bit much so you feel like a change.

| I forgot to mention this also has a nice textured label, like old Japanese style paper. |
