W Zero Cocktail Chardonnay Sparkling Taste
This is one of a series of 0% alcohol cocktails, with allegedly "wine" flavours from Asahi in Japan. It also has 0kCal aswell apparently, although not sure how that's possible.
I bought this for my wife as she's not drinking alcohol at the moment, but had to try it to see what it was like...
Well let's start with the nose. Bizarrely it smells like, and I don't know of a nicer way to put this, but my wife agreed...it smells like my baby's pee filled nappies!
Not a good start. Although, this isn't as horrible as it might sound, being a new dad and all, my baby's pee filled nappies don't smell too bad really. (Other people may disagree however!)
Tastewise it's light and fizzy. With trying to make it taste like sparkling chardonnay it just ends up not tasting very nice. They're trying too hard.
Fizzy grape juice is better.
It might be alright for people who want to drink wine but can't, but otherwise you're better off with some kind of grape based non-alcoholic drink I think.
