Hokkaido Melon Hi-Ball
This is another little oddity I found recently in my local supermarket. The Hokkaido Melon Hi-Ball.
There's lots of melon on the nose but on the palate the melon isn't too overpowering.
It has a light, fresh feel and there's a barely susceptible fizz to it.
It's not too sweet either which is unusual for a Japanese cocktail (they tend to overdo it on the sweetness I find).
Surprisingly good with no alcohol taste to it, so slips down like juice.
