White Russian
The White Russian. What a marvellous cocktail. Probably now most famous because of the Coen Brothers movie "The Big Lebowski" where it's The Dude's favourite beverage of choice.
"Hey, careful, man, there's a beverage here! "
I've read different recipes for it but I basically use the following:
1 part Vodka
1 part Kahlua
2 parts Milk
Lots of Ice
As with all cocktails you can vary the measures to get the strength or taste you like (I usually have 2 shots of each alcohol) and top up the milk till it's easily drinkable.
The great thing about this cocktail is you also get the healthy aspect of the milk :)
