/> <br/>Well, the June&#8217;s batch were excellent with two of them scoring in the 90s (and the other one fairly close).</p><p>As always these are from the <strong>2009 Slow Food Nippon</strong> contest at which <strong>131 breweries</strong> throughout Japan entered their sakes.</p><p>I get sent 3 a month for 6 months, so hopefully I will have tried the <strong>best 18 sakes</strong> from those 131 breweries.</p><div

href="http://www.moippai.com/sake-reviews/Umenishiki-%E6%B5%B7%E9%8C%A6-28.html">Umenishiki</a> (which was a little disappointing) and the <a
href="http://www.moippai.com/sake-reviews/Houyou-Junmaishu-29.html">Houyou</a> (which was fantastic and is highly recommended!). Clean, fresh and very drinkable.</p><p>The Uchigasaki website (<a
href="http://www.uchigasaki.com/" target="_blank">here</a>) is only in Japanese but worth checking out for some cool Japanese images and designs as well as <a
href="http://hoyo-shop.com/" target="_blank">this page</a> if you&#8217;re into <b>anime</b>, and the <b>Sengoku Basara (戦国Basara)</b> TV series (which I have only just heard of but like the bottle labels so will be looking out for that sake).<br/><br

href="http://www.umenishiki.co.jp/">Umenishiki Brewery home page</a> is also only in Japanese but the <a
href="http://www.hanzo-sake.com/e-hanzo/index.htm">Ota Sake Brewery site</a> does have English with lots of good information about their sakes including whether it&#8217;s best to drink them chilled, room temperature or warm. Which is very useful to know.</p><div
