iBottleopener for iPhone

Recently I bought an iPhone 4 and wanting to protect it and solve the antenna problem I bought a not particularly cool rubber bumper to go with it.

If only I’d waited till I’d seen this little beauty.

Made by a company called Lightbulb Moments the iBottleopener is an iPhone case and beer bottle opener in one.

You know how it is, you’re sitting in the park or on the beach reading your emails on your iPhone, you reach in your bag to pull out a cold bottle of Kirin and realise you’ve forgotten your bottle opener!

No problem, flip your phone over and Bob’s yer uncle.

Ok, this has never happened to me and generally I don’t drink bottles outside as cans are easier and less bulky, but still I like the thinking behind this so you gotta give em credit.

I guess this will do better in America where bottled beer seems more popular, going by US TV and movies anyway, where people always seem to be opening beer bottles when friends come over.

It’s only available iPhone 3G at the moment, but iPhone4 is coming soon. $19.95 doesn’t seem to expensive either, and it actually looks kinda cool (well better than cheap off white rubber thing I have at the moment).
