The brewery has been around since 1500 apparently and after a brief google that's pretty much all I could find out about it.
As for this lager, it's a very pale straw colour in the glass, fairly fizzy with a white head.
It has a malty, wheaty, cerealy nose and this cereal, wheaty taste comes through on the palate too.
It's a fairly light lager and a little bitter and dry, especially on the finish.
Overall, it's just ok, but a little too cerealy for me.
