"Black, black, black" is how I described the look of this in my notes. So I guess they named it correctly then.Location : Japan > Osaka

It has a dark malty nose with some caramel notes there.
Not too heavy in the mouth, and some roasted malt on the palate.
Also some dark toffee and caramel on the aftertaste, some coffee too.
Pretty dry and bitter too, made me want to keep drinking, as the dryness was making me thirsty.
Not a bad stout, but nothing outstanding.
It's a not too heavy, black beer with a pleasant roasted malt taste. An everyday stout really, fairly forgettable but does the job.
Pretty drinkable, and I guess that's what it's there for, so job well done.
