It's dark reddy purple in the glass like a strong ribena (that'll be the cassis!), with a pinkish head.
Not much fruit on the nose, just smells like a daisan (slightly chemical, hint of metal).
On the palate you can taste the cassis but it's not sweet, which I was surprised about (the lack of sweetness, not the taste of cassis).
Basically this tastes how you think it would, an average (drinkably but slightly soda watery) daisan mixed with a small amount of cassis.
Trouble is I'm not sure who this is marketed to or who it would appeal to. Not sweet enough for my wife (who likes cocktails and other sweet alcoholic drinks), and as a guy I'll drink a red fruit beer no problem but only if it's a real beer and from Belgium. Not a fake concoction like this.
