Alcohol : 5.3% Abv

I picked this beer up in my local Ikea of all places (where else to get all your Swedish necessities in Japan?)

Their website tells me it's made with pilsnermalt, Magnum and Perle hops, and corn and sugar.

It's golden on the pour, very fizzy with a big, white frothy head.

It has a malty nose upfront with some hoppiness sneaking up behind.

It's a smooth, almost creamy beer, soft and a bit flabby but in a good way. Not crisp like a usual pilsner.

Tastewise it's malty up front with some bitterness on the finish.

A dry lager but not too dry.
overall, pretty good and I'm impressed with Swedish beer so far! This one was made in celebration of the Swedish capital apparently, and they did a good job (it's won 6 gold medals and 3 silver from the German DLG to boot).

Their website is here.
