The brewery has been around since 1397 apparently, which is pretty impressive.
It's a black treacley colour on the pour with a light fizzy head, and looks just like a glass of coke.
Has a dark malty smell with a sugary-treacly sweetness.
On the palate it tastes like a light stout, with a full, soft weighty feel to it.
Syrupy almost in texture despite the light fizzy look.
A slightly dry, sweet beer and overall pretty good.
