This Belgian White beer comes from Nippon Beer in Tokyo who basically are a large importer of foreign beers into Japan (their website is here). They import beers such as Red Stripe, Brooklyn Lager and Saxer Lemon Beer, but as far as I can tell this is one of their own Japanese beers.

It's a Belgian Style White beer so is cloudy yellow in the glass with fairly large looking particles floating about in the glass. The beer pours with a big white head too.

It's fruity and orangey on the nose and on the palate too there's a fair bit of orange.

A lot of white beers tend to have a strong bitter orange, coriander taste but this has more of a subtle, light orangey feel that isn't too bitter or tart,
that leaves a subtle, orange aftertaste.

Overall a soft, smooth white beer which is actually really nice (I'm not usually a big fan of white beers, but I'm coming round to them).

Would definitely buy this again.

And I forgot to mention, this can is sold and printed...upside down! (As you can see in the picture). At first I thought it was some kind of manufacturing error, but apparently (it's written down the side), it's done on purpose, to improve or help the taste or something (didn't quite understand the Japanese). Anyway, a nice, novel touch.
