Pale golden in the glass and slightly hazy. It has a white, frothy head and a light fresh "lager" nose.
This is a medium bodied lager that's not too crisp or fresh, more of a mellow lager.
There's a slight bitter, off, kind of aftertaste and it's a dry lager, and a little rough on the teeth.
I tried 4 of the SanktGallen beers in one sitting, going from the darkest, Brown Porter to the lightest, this one, and I think they make better dark beers.
Although they are all pretty drinkable.
