This stout from Sapporo has dark roasted malt, and caramel malt as part of it's ingredients.

It's black an dcreamy with an off yellow/brown head in the glass.

There's a caramel, malty nose and like the Kirin Ichiban Shibori Stout this has quite a light feel to it, and fairly light in the mouth.

Dark roasted malt and caramel flavours with quite a long aftertaste too.

I quite like this one, but at first I thought the Kirin just pipped it, as it's easier to drink. I originally gave this one 88 points, but I left it to settle for a bit and tried again, and got a big mouthful of caramel toffee. Excellent!

It gained a point for that, however this is a bit heavier than the Kirin so could probably only manage one pint of this before changing to something lighter.

Good for that one pint though.
