This is a limited edition version of the Premium Yebisu from Sapporo that was made specially for the Asuka II Cruise liner, which is, looking at their website, a big cruise ship owned by NYK Cruises based in Tokyo, that travels around the world (as cruise ships tend to do).Location : Japan > Tokyo

I'm guessing this beer is sold on board ship, and for a limited time it's being sold to the rest of us in our local convenience stores and supermarkets so we don't have to fork out however million yen to try it on board.
Accoding to the can - "Ltd Edition Yebisu for Asuka II is mellow and smooth for the taste of luxury and relaxation".
There was also something in Japanese about it "matching" being on a boat..? So it helps cure seasickness?
Anyway, it's a golden coloured lager with a big light fizzy head.
It has a light feel to it and is quite dry and bitter. The bitterness is quite strong on the aftertaste too, and the lager is quite gassy.
Not too bad, but the aftertaste was a bit too overpowering for me.
