This dark beer from Otaru Brewery in Hokkaido is a dark, slightly cloudy opaque beer with a dirty yellowy white bubbly head. The head isn't too thick or creamy that you often get with dark beers, and it soon disappears.Location : Japan > Hokkaido

On the nose there's dark roasted malt.
On the palate it's quite a fresh malt taste and quite fizzy on the tongue.
There's also a slight sweetness to it. No coffee, caramel or chocolate though.
Jus a slightly sweet fresh zingy, roasted malt taste.
An unusual dark beer, because of the sweetness, not what I was expecting.
Interesting.
