According to their website at http://www.gmodelo.com this is a Munich style beer and was originally a draft beer introduced in 1926. It's also the best selling dark beer in Mexico and I can see why. I loved it.Location : Mexico

A dark toffee brown coloured beer, slightly fizzy but with no head.
There's a malty smell to it, like an English ale.
Very smooth in the mouth with a bitter taste, again like an English bitter ale.
It's not too dry and has a full taste that's not too malty or hoppy.
This is a great, great ale, which I must get more of, and luckily, for an imported beer in Japan, it's not too expensive.
