Previously I'd tried the Negra Modelo which was an excellent beer in the Munich style.
The Modelo Especial is a light, golden and very fizzy lager with a light (but powerful!) nose. The nose is almost like a cider, with hints of apples.
On the mouth it has a light feel but it has a nice full taste. It's also quite gassy.
It's slightly dry with quite a long finish.
This is pretty good but their Negra Modelo, for me, is much better.
