Lindemans Pecheresse Peches-Lambic Artisanal

Lindemans Pecheresse Peches-Lambic Artisanal

Brewery : Lindemans
Location : Belgium > Vlezenbeek
Beer Type : Beer
Alcohol : 2.5% Abv
Score: 89 by MoIppai (21/12/2010)

This is a fruit beer using the straight-juice method (apparently) and derived from lambic beer. Lambic beer is produced by spontaneous fermentation, meaning it is exposed to the natural wild yeasts and bacteria, rather than the usual cultivated yeasts that are used for regular beers and ales.

30% of this beer is fruit juice and so, inevitably, this has strong peach flavours on the nose.

It's a light toffee coloured, clear beer in the glass and is very peachy on the palate.
Light and sweet but not too tart.

A fresh and fruity beer with a nice peach aftertaste.

I'm not usually a big fan of fruity beers but this made a nice refreshing change.
