This beer is made with the malt roasted over coal apparently ("Sumiyaki Bakuga Jikomi" as it says on the can).
It's a clear, dark toffee brown colour in the glass and quite fizzy but the head soon disappears.
There's a light barley nose, and a light feel in the mouth.
A little malty and a little dry.
This is a good beer, one of the better ones from the big 4 Japanese breweries.
