This is ふらのビール (furano beer) Weizen and is made (I believe) by a brewery called Yuigadokusan Brewery, although Yuigadokuson (唯我独尊) has something to do with Buddhism apparently, and the website on the label hokkaidobeer.com is a very simple page, with two breweries mentioned, neither of them have this name. Such is the complexities of Japanese breweries.Location : Japan > Hokkaido

Any road up, what's the beer like?
Well it's a white beer, and is a dirty orangey, yellow colour in the glass.
It has a white beer, fruity hoppy nose with some oranges in there. It's not too strong on the nose though, fairly subtle.
On the palate there's a sour orange taste, like a fizzy sour orange squash (orangeade perhaps?), with quite a long finish.
Not a big fan of this one but it's ok. It makes a change but probably a one-off for me.
To be honest, I'm just not too keen on White Beers.
